Connecting Quizify to Zapier

Zapier lets you connect Quizify to thousands of other apps without writing any code. When a customer submits your quiz, Zapier can automatically trigger actions in other tools — like adding the customer to a CRM, sending a Slack notification, or logging the submission to a spreadsheet.

Where to Find the Zapier Integration in Quizify

  1. Open Quizify from your Shopify admin

  2. Go to Integrations in the main navigation

  3. Find Zapier in the list

  4. Follow the instructions or link to connect Quizify as a Zapier app

Connecting Quizify as a Zapier Trigger

In Zapier:

  1. Create a new Zap

  2. Search for Quizify in the app search

  3. Select New Quiz Submission as the trigger event

  4. Follow the authentication steps to connect your Quizify account to Zapier

  5. Select which quiz should trigger the Zap (or choose all quizzes)

  6. Click Test Trigger — Zapier will pull a sample submission to show you the available data

What Quiz Data Is Available in the Zap Trigger

When a quiz is submitted, Zapier receives a payload that includes:

  • Customer answers — each question and the answer(s) selected

  • User information — first name, last name, email, phone (if collected)

  • Answer tags — tags from the customer's selected answers

  • Recommendation shown — the products or outcome displayed on the result page

  • Submission timestamp — date and time of submission

  • Quiz ID and quiz name — identifying which quiz was submitted

All of this data is available as fields when you build your Zap action.

Example Zaps

Add quiz leads to a CRM: Trigger: New Quizify submission → Action: Create contact in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM — map the email, name, and answer tags to the CRM fields.

Log submissions to Google Sheets: Trigger: New Quizify submission → Action: Add row to Google Sheets — create a row per submission with all quiz fields.

Send a Slack notification: Trigger: New Quizify submission → Action: Send Slack message — notify your team when a high-value lead completes the quiz.

Filter by answer tag: Add a Filter step between the trigger and action: only proceed if the answer tag equals a specific value — for example, only add to CRM if the customer selected "High Budget".

Testing the Zapier Connection
