How to Access the Customer Email Settings
- Open Quizify from your Shopify admin
- Open the quiz you want to configure
- Go to Email within the quiz editor
- Find the Send email section
Enabling the Automated Email
In the Customer Email settings:- Toggle the Send automated email switch to on
- The email will now be sent automatically to every customer who completes the quiz and provides their email address via the user information form
The automated email is only sent to customers who have submitted an email address. If no email was collected, the email cannot be sent. Make sure the user information form is enabled and the email field is included on your quiz.
Setting the Sender Name and Reply-To Address
The sender name and reply-to email address control how the email appears to the recipient.- In the Sender Name field, enter the name you want displayed as the sender — for example, your store name
- In the Reply-To Email field, enter the email address you want customer replies to go to — this is typically your store’s customer service email
Writing the Subject Line
The subject line is the first thing customers see when the email arrives in their inbox. A good subject line:- References the quiz outcome (e.g., “Your personalised skincare results are here”)
- Creates a sense of relevance and personalisation
- Is under 60 characters for best display across email clients
Which Quiz Types Support the Automated Email
The automated post-quiz email works with all quiz recommendation types, including:- Answer-based (direct product link) quizzes
- Score-based quizzes
- Type-based quizzes
How to Test the Email Before Going Live
Before enabling the automated email for live customers, send yourself a test:- Complete the quiz on your live store using a real email address
- Check your inbox for the automated email
- Verify the sender name, subject line, and email content display correctly
- Click any links in the email to confirm they work
