What Data Is Sent
When a customer completes your quiz and submits the user information form, Quizify sends the following data to your connected email platform:- First name — if the first name field is enabled and the customer filled it in
- Last name — if the last name field is enabled and the customer filled it in
- Email address — required for the sync to happen
- Phone number — if the phone field is enabled and the customer provided it
- Answer tags — tags assigned to the answers the customer selected during the quiz
When the Sync Happens
Quizify sends contact data to your email platform in real time — immediately after the quiz submission is recorded. There is no manual trigger or scheduled batch export. From the moment a customer submits the form, the data is sent. In most cases, the contact appears in your email platform within a few seconds to a minute.Prerequisites
The sync only works when both of the following conditions are met:- The user information form is enabled on your quiz
- The email field is included in the form — with or without being marked required
If the email field is optional and a customer skips it, that specific submission will not be synced — but all other submissions with email addresses will sync normally.
What Happens If the Email Already Exists in the Platform
If a customer provides an email address that already exists as a contact in your email platform, Quizify updates the existing contact rather than creating a duplicate. The update typically includes:- Any new answer tags added to the existing contact’s profile
- Updated name or phone number fields if they differ from what was previously stored
How to Verify Data Is Arriving
- Complete a test quiz using a real email address you have access to
- Log in to your email platform
- Search for the email address you used
- Confirm the contact was created or updated
- Check that the correct answer tags or properties are visible on the contact
