Connecting Active Campaign to Quizify automatically adds quiz leads as contacts in your Active Campaign account. This guide walks you through finding your credentials and completing the connection.

Before You Start

Make sure the following are in place:
  • You have an Active Campaign account
  • The user information form is enabled on your quiz with the email field included
  • You have access to your Active Campaign API key and API URL

Step 1: Find the Active Campaign Integration in Quizify

  1. Open Quizify from your Shopify admin
  2. Go to Integrations in the main navigation
  3. Find Active Campaign in the list
  4. Click Connect or Set Up

Step 2: Get Your Active Campaign API Key and URL

Active Campaign requires both an API key and an API URL to authenticate.
  1. Log in to your Active Campaign account
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the left navigation)
  3. Select Developer
  4. You will see your API URL and API Key on this page
  5. Copy both values

Step 3: Enter Your Credentials in Quizify

  1. Paste your Active Campaign API URL into the API URL field
  2. Paste your API key into the API Key field
  3. Click Connect or Verify
  4. Quizify will validate your credentials and load your Active Campaign lists

Step 4: Select a Contact List

Select the Active Campaign list you want quiz leads added to. Contacts created from quiz submissions will be subscribed to this list.

Step 5: Save and Test

  1. Save the integration settings
  2. Complete a test quiz using a real or test email address
  3. Check Active Campaign to confirm the contact was created and subscribed to the correct list
