Connecting Email Marketing Platforms: An Overview

Quizify integrates with several email marketing platforms so that quiz leads — customers who complete your quiz and provide their email address — are automatically added to your email list. This guide explains how the integration works and which platforms are supported.


Supported Email Platforms

Quizify integrates directly with the following email marketing platforms:

  • Mailchimp

  • Klaviyo

  • Active Campaign

  • Brevo (formerly Sendinblue)

  • Omnisend

Each platform has its own setup process, covered in the individual connection guides linked at the end of this doc.


How the Integration Works

When a customer completes your quiz and submits the user information form — including their email address — Quizify sends their contact data to your connected email platform in real time.

The process works like this:

  1. Customer completes the quiz

  2. Customer submits the user information form with their email address

  3. Quizify sends the contact data to your email platform

  4. A new contact is created (or an existing contact is updated) in your platform

This happens automatically for every qualifying quiz submission. You do not need to manually export or import contacts.


What Data Is Synced

Quizify sends the following data to your email platform on each qualifying submission:

  • First name — if collected in the user information form

  • Last name — if collected in the user information form

  • Email address — required for the sync to occur

  • Phone number — if collected in the user information form

  • Answer tags — tags from the customer's selected answers, mapped to the platform's contact properties or tags

The exact way answer tags appear in your platform (as contact tags, custom properties, or list segments) depends on the platform. See the individual platform guides for details.


Requirement: Email Field Must Be Enabled

The email integration only syncs contacts who have provided an email address. For this to happen:

  • The user information form must be enabled on your quiz

  • The email field must be added to the form

If the user information form is disabled or the email field is not included, no contact data will be synced to your email platform — even if the platform integration is connected.

You can make the email field optional or required. If the field is optional and a customer skips it, that submission will not be synced to your email platform.
