Connecting Facebook Pixel to Your Quiz
Connecting your Facebook Pixel to Quizify lets you track quiz interactions — such as starts, completions, and add-to-cart actions — in Facebook Ads Manager. You can use this data to build custom audiences, run retargeting campaigns, and measure how quiz engagement contributes to ad conversions.
Where to Find the Facebook Pixel Integration in Quizify
Open Quizify from your Shopify admin
Go to Integrations in the main navigation
Find Facebook Pixel in the list
Click Connect or Set Up
Entering Your Pixel ID
Log in to your Facebook Business account
Go to Events Manager (at business.facebook.com/events_manager)
Select your Pixel from the list
Copy your Pixel ID — a 15–16 digit number shown in the Pixel overview
Paste the Pixel ID into the Facebook Pixel field in Quizify
Save the settings
What Events Are Fired
Once connected, Quizify fires the following events to your Facebook Pixel:
Quiz Start — fired when a customer begins the quiz
Quiz Complete — fired when a customer reaches the result page
Add to Cart — fired when a customer clicks an add-to-cart button on the result page
These are standard custom events sent as Facebook Pixel custom events (not standard events like Purchase or Lead, unless Quizify maps them as such in your version).
How to Use These Events in Facebook Ads Manager
Once quiz events are being sent to your Pixel, you can use them in Facebook Ads Manager in several ways:
Retargeting audiences: Create a Custom Audience of people who fired the Quiz Start event but did not fire Quiz Complete — these are customers who started but did not finish your quiz. You can retarget them with an ad reminding them to complete the quiz.
Engagement-based audiences: Create a Custom Audience of people who completed the quiz. These are your most engaged prospects and can be targeted with product-focused ads aligned to their quiz outcome.
Lookalike audiences: Use your quiz completers or converters as the seed audience for a Lookalike Audience to find new customers with similar characteristics.
Conversion tracking: If you map the Add to Cart or Quiz Complete event as a conversion in your ad campaign, Facebook will optimise ad delivery to find people most likely to take those actions.
Testing That Pixel Events Are Firing
Use the Facebook Pixel Helper browser extension (available for Chrome) to verify that events are firing correctly:

Open your quiz on your live store
The Pixel Helper icon in your browser toolbar will show which Pixel events are firing
Complete the quiz step by step and confirm that Quiz Start, Quiz Complete, and Add to Cart events appear in the Pixel Helper
You can also use the Test Events tool in Facebook Events Manager to send a live test.
