Connecting Brevo to Quizify

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) can be connected to Quizify to automatically add quiz leads to your Brevo contact lists. This guide explains how to find your API key and complete the connection.

Before You Start

You have a Brevo account
The user information form is enabled on your quiz with the email field included
You have access to your Brevo API key

Step 1: Find the Brevo Integration in Quizify

Open Quizify from your Shopify admin
Go to Integrations in the main navigation
Find Brevo in the list
Click Connect or Set Up

Step 2: Get Your Brevo API Key

Log in to your Brevo account
Click your account name in the top-right corner
Select SMTP & API (or go to Settings → API Keys)
Click Generate a new API key
Name the key (e.g., "Quizify") and click Generate
Copy the API key — it will only be shown once

Store your API key somewhere safe. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new one.

Step 3: Enter the API Key in Quizify

Paste your Brevo API key into the API key field in the Quizify Brevo integration settings
Click Connect or Verify
Quizify will validate the key and load your Brevo contact lists

Step 4: Select a Contact List

Select the Brevo contact list you want quiz leads added to. Each completed quiz submission with a valid email address will add the customer to this list.

Step 5: Save and Test

Save the integration settings
Complete a test quiz using a real or test email address
Check Brevo to confirm the contact appeared in the selected list

How do I connect Brevo to Quizify?

Go to Integrations in Quizify and find Brevo. Click Connect, enter your Brevo API key, select a contact list, and save. From that point on, quiz leads with email addresses will be synced to Brevo automatically.

Is Brevo the same as Sendinblue?

Yes. Brevo is the new name for Sendinblue — the platform was rebranded in 2023. The product is the same, and the integration in Quizify may still show the name Sendinblue in older versions. If you see Sendinblue listed in Quizify, it refers to the same platform now known as Brevo.

Where do I find my Brevo API key?

Log in to Brevo, click your account name in the top-right corner, and go to SMTP & API or Settings → API Keys. Generate a new API key, copy it, and paste it into the Quizify integration settings.

Why are quiz leads not syncing to Brevo?

Check that the email field is enabled in the user information form. Without an email address, Brevo cannot create a contact. Verify the API key is entered correctly and that the correct contact list is selected. If the API key has been regenerated in Brevo, update it in Quizify and save. Then complete a fresh test submission.
