Linking Answers to Products
Linking answers to products is the core setup step for Normal (answer-based) recommendations. When a customer selects an answer, any products you have linked to that answer are added to their result page. This guide explains how to create and manage those links.
How to Link an Answer to a Product
Open your quiz in the Quizify editor
Navigate to the recommendations tab that contains the questions and answers you want to link
Find the Answer and click on it
You will see a list of all the products in your store
Search for your Shopify product by name
Select the product from the search results
Save
The linked product will now appear on the result page for any customer who selects that answer.
Repeat this process for every answer option in your quiz. Any answer without a product link will not contribute any products to the customer's result.
Linking Multiple Products to One Answer
You can link more than one product to a single answer option. This is useful when one answer implies several relevant products — for example, an answer about dry skin might link to a moisturiser, a hydrating serum, and a gentle cleanser.
To add a second product to an answer, click on Answer again after the first link is saved, and repeat the search and select process. There is no fixed limit on the number of products you can link to a single answer.
Removing or Changing a Product Link
To remove a product link from an answer:
Open the answer settings
Find the product link you want to remove
Uncheck the checkbox next to that product
Save
To change a linked product, remove the existing link and add the replacement product.
How Linked Products Appear on the Result Page
When a customer completes the quiz, Quizify collects all the products linked to their selected answers and displays them on the result page. If the customer selected multiple answers, the combined set of all linked products is shown — with any duplicates automatically removed, so each product only appears once.
Products display with their Shopify product image, name, and price. Depending on your result page settings, additional buttons such as Add to Cart or View Product may also be shown.
