Each result type in a type-based quiz can have its own heading, description, and image on the result page. You can also display the name of the winning type anywhere in the result page content using the {{ Type result }} shortcode. Together, these tools allow you to give every customer a personalised result page experience that reflects their specific outcome.

Accessing Appearance Settings Per Type

  1. From the Quizify dashboard, click the edit quiz icon next to your quiz to open the quiz editor
  2. Click Result in the left menu
  3. Click on the result type you want to customise
  4. Look for the appearance or content section within the type settings
Here you will find fields for the heading, description, and image specific to this type.

Setting a Custom Heading Per Type

The heading is the main text shown at the top of the result page when this type wins. It is typically used to announce the customer’s result — for example:
  • “Your Skin Type: Oily”
  • “You’re a Natural Explorer”
  • “Your Result: Moderate Concern”
To set it:
  1. Find the Heading field in the type settings
  2. Enter the heading text for this type
  3. Save

Setting a Custom Description Per Type

The description appears below the heading and provides context for the result. Use it to explain what the type means, why the recommended products are suited to the customer, or what they can expect from the result. Example for an Oily Skin type: “Your skin produces more sebum than average, which can lead to shine, enlarged pores, and occasional breakouts. The products below are formulated to balance oil production and keep skin clear.” To set it:
  1. Find the Description field in the type settings
  2. Enter the description text for this type
  3. Save

Setting a Type-Specific Image

Each result type can display a unique image at the top of the result page. This could be a lifestyle image that represents the type, a product flatlay, or a branded graphic.
  1. Find the Image field in the type settings
  2. Upload the image you want to use for this type
  3. Save

Use consistent image dimensions across all types for a clean, uniform look. Images that are too large may affect how quickly the result page loads.

How These Settings Display on the Live Result Page

When a customer completes the quiz and a type wins, the result page shows:
  1. The type-specific image (if set)
  2. The type-specific heading
  3. The type-specific description
  4. The products linked to the winning type
If no type-specific content is configured for a particular field, Quizify falls back to the global result page settings — the default heading and description you have set in the general result page configuration.

Do Per-Type Settings Override the Global Design?

Per-type content settings (heading, description, image) override the corresponding global result page text fields for customers who receive that type as their outcome. However, they do not override the overall quiz design settings — fonts, colours, button styles, and layout remain governed by your quiz’s design settings.

Displaying the Winning Type Name with a Shortcode

You can display the name of the winning result type anywhere in the result page content using the {{ Type result }} shortcode. The shortcode outputs the type name only — no additional labels or formatting. Add your own surrounding text to present it the way you want.

How to Add the Shortcode

  1. From the Quizify dashboard, click the edit quiz icon next to your quiz to open the quiz editor
  2. Click Result in the left menu
  3. Find the page content or description field where you want the type name to appear
  4. Type or paste {{ Type result }} at the position where the type name should display
  5. Add any surrounding text or labels you want customers to see alongside it
  6. Save your settings

What It Outputs

{{ Type result }} is replaced with the name of the type that won for that customer — for example, “Oily Skin”, “Dry Skin”, or whatever name you gave the winning type. Because the shortcode outputs only the name, write your own label or sentence around it. For example:
  • Your result: {{ Type result }} displays as “Your result: Oily Skin”
  • You are: {{ Type result }} displays as “You are: Oily Skin”
  • Based on your answers, you have {{ Type result }} displays as “Based on your answers, you have Oily Skin”
