Integration Not Sending Quiz Data
If a connected integration — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Zapier, Make, or another platform — is not receiving data after quiz submissions, work through this guide to identify the cause.
Step 1: Confirm the Integration Is Connected
First, check that the integration is actually connected and active in Quizify.
Go to Integrations in the Quizify navigation
Find the integration you expect to be sending data
Check its status — it should show as Connected or Active
If it shows as disconnected or shows an error, reconnect it
Step 2: Check the API Key Is Valid
Most integrations authenticate using an API key. API keys can expire, be revoked, or be entered incorrectly.
In the integration settings, review the API key that is saved
Log in to your email platform or tool and generate a new API key
Update the API key in Quizify and save
Complete a test quiz to see if data syncs
Step 3: Confirm the Email Field Is Enabled
For email marketing platform integrations (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, etc.), the integration only syncs contacts who have provided an email address. Without the email field in your user information form, no contacts will be synced — even if the integration is connected.
Open the quiz in Quizify
Go to the User Info Form settings
Confirm the email field is enabled
Confirm the form itself is enabled
Step 4: Check for Per-Quiz Integration Overrides
If you have configured per-quiz integration settings (Separate App Connection) for the quiz, those settings override the global integration. The global platform may not be receiving data because the quiz is configured to send to a different destination — or to no destination at all.
Open the quiz in Quizify
Go to Settings
Check for a Separate App Connection or per-quiz integration section
Review what is configured and adjust if needed
Step 5: Check for a Sync Delay
Most integrations sync in real time, but occasional delays can occur during high-traffic periods. Wait 5–10 minutes after a test submission before concluding data has not arrived.
Step 6: Submit a Fresh Test
After checking and updating the integration settings:
Complete a test quiz using a real email address you can check
Wait a few minutes
Check the destination platform for the new contact
A fresh test confirms whether the integration is now working after your changes.
