Result Widget

The Result Widget lets returning customers view their past quiz responses directly on your store — without needing to take the quiz again. It shows them the questions they answered, the answers they gave, and a link to their result page with the products recommended for them.

This gives customers a quick way to revisit and buy from their personalised recommendations on any future visit.

How It Works

When a customer visits a page where the Result Widget is placed:

• If they are logged in to their customer account, the widget automatically retrieves their past quiz responses based on their account email and displays them.

• If they are not logged in, the widget shows an email input field. Once the customer enters the email they used when taking the quiz, the widget loads their past responses and results.

The widget displays:

• The questions from the quiz and the answers the customer selected

• A link to their result page, where they can view their recommended products and purchase them

Adding the Result Widget to Your Store

The Result Widget is added as an app block through the Shopify theme editor. You can place it on any page of your store.

Step 1: Get Your Quiz ID

Before adding the app block, you need the Quiz ID for the quiz you want the widget to display results for.

1. Open the quiz in Quizify

2. Click Edit Quiz

3. Go to the Publish tab

4. Find and copy the Quiz ID shown there

Step 2: Add the App Block

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes

2. Click Customise on your active theme

3. Navigate to the page where you want the widget to appear

4. Click Add block or Add section and look for the Quizify Result Widget app block

5. Select it to add it to the page

Step 3: Enter the Quiz ID

1. With the Result Widget app block selected in the theme editor, find the Quiz ID field in the block settings panel

2. Paste the Quiz ID you copied from the Publish tab

3. Save the theme

Where to Place the Result Widget

You can add the Result Widget app block to any page in your Shopify theme — for example:

• The customer account page, so returning customers always have access to their results when they log in

• A dedicated recommendations page you create for this purpose
