Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

You can change your Quizify plan at any time from within your Shopify admin. This guide explains how to change plans and what to expect when you upgrade or downgrade.


How to Initiate a Plan Change

  1. Open Quizify from your Shopify admin

  2. Go to the Pricing or Plans page

  3. Review the available plans

  4. Click Upgrade or Switch to this plan on the plan you want to move to

  5. You will be redirected to a Shopify billing confirmation screen

  6. Confirm the plan change in Shopify

The change takes effect immediately after confirmation.


Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher plan:

  • New features are available immediately — you can access any features included in the new plan right away

  • Billing changes at the next cycle — depending on Shopify's billing model, you may be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle or the new price will apply from the next cycle. Shopify's billing screen will show the exact charges.

  • Existing quizzes and data are unchanged — all quizzes, submissions, and settings are preserved


Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade to a lower plan:

Features may become inaccessible. If your current plan includes features not available on the lower plan — such as marketing integrations, Shopify Customer Integration, custom fonts, or higher submission limits — those features will no longer be accessible after the downgrade.

Existing quiz data is preserved. Your quizzes, submissions, and settings are not deleted when you downgrade. However, you may not be able to edit or access features that require a higher plan.

Plan-gated features in quizzes. If a quiz uses a feature not available on the lower plan (such as Score and Type Recommendations, Answer Tags, or per-funnel integration settings), that configuration may become inactive or hidden after the downgrade. Review your quizzes for any plan-specific features before downgrading.

Submission limits. If your usage exceeds the lower plan's submission limit, you may be charged overage fees or the quiz may be paused, depending on the lower plan's terms.


What Happens to Quizzes Built Using Plan-Gated Features

If you downgrade and a quiz uses a feature not available on the lower plan:

  • That feature or configuration may be deactivated or hidden from the quiz flow

  • The quiz itself is not deleted, but it may not function as intended until you upgrade again

Review any quizzes that use plan-gated features before downgrading.


Confirming the Plan Change in Shopify

All Quizify billing is handled through Shopify. After selecting a new plan in Quizify, Shopify will show a billing confirmation screen. Review the charges shown and confirm to complete the plan change.

Your new plan and its charges will appear in your Shopify invoice history under Billing.
