Understanding Submission Limits
Each Quizify plan includes a submission limit — the maximum number of quiz completions you can receive per billing period. This guide explains what counts as a submission, what happens when you reach your limit, and how to track your usage.
What Counts as a Submission
A submission is counted each time a customer completes your quiz and reaches the result page. This includes:
Any quiz on your store
Whether or not the customer provided their email address
Whether or not the customer added a product to the cart
Customers who start the quiz but abandon it before reaching the result page are not counted as submissions.
How Submission Limits Are Counted
Submissions are counted on a monthly basis, aligned to your billing cycle. The count resets at the start of each new billing period.
If you have multiple quizzes on your store, all submissions across all quizzes count toward the same limit.
What Happens When You Reach the Limit
The behaviour when you hit the submission limit depends on your plan:
Free plan: The quiz may stop accepting new completions — customers who take the quiz may not be able to reach the result page.
Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro, Plus): Paid plans use a usage-based overage model. When you exceed the included submissions, you are charged an overage rate per additional submission (Starter: $0.05, Growth: $0.04, Pro: $0.03, Plus: $0.02). Your quiz continues to accept responses — it does not stop working.
The exact overage rate and whether your plan uses hard limits or overage billing depends on your specific Quizify version and plan. Check your plan details in Quizify for the precise terms.
