# Deleting Quiz Submission Data

> Explains that Quizify does not offer self-service deletion of quiz submissions — to protect analytics and reports — and how to contact support or handle compliance-related removal requests.

Quizify **does not allow you to delete quiz submissions** from your dashboard. Removing responses in the app would create **inconsistencies in analytics and reports** (for example completion counts, conversion metrics, and historical trends), so deletion is not exposed as a self-service action.

If you need submission data removed — for example a mistaken test response, or a **privacy or compliance** request — you must **contact Quizify support**. The support team can review your request and remove data in a controlled way when appropriate.

***

## What You Can Do Instead of Deleting

* **Export responses to CSV** — Download a copy of your submission data for your records, reporting, or offline cleanup workflows. See [Exporting Quiz Responses](/submissions-and-data/managing-data/exporting-quiz-responses).

* **Contact support** — Explain which quiz, approximate date and time, or identifier (such as email) applies so support can locate the submission if removal is required.

## GDPR and Customer Data Requests

If a customer asks you to delete their personal data, you cannot remove their quiz submission yourself in Quizify. **Contact Quizify support** with the details of the request. Support will advise on what can be removed from Quizify and how that may affect linked **integrations** (such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo), where you may need to delete or update the customer separately.

<Tip><p>Export relevant rows before asking for deletion if you need an audit trail of what was stored, subject to your own legal obligations.</p></Tip>
